I used to use the regexp tool in Komodo. But since they stopped offering the $25 ‘personal’ version I lost my enthusiasm a bit.
The online alternative I keep returning to: http://www.mochikit.com/examples/mochiregexp/index.html
Only ‘javascript’ regular expressions, but so far this worked out just fine every time I needed it.
